
With the heat blazing and the swimsuits flying off the shelves…summer is quickly approaching. In Texas, we are already experiencing high 90 degree weather… ahhh! So naturally the kiddos are going to want to cool down, this is where safety comes into importance.

This past weekend my group of friends and I experienced a young child drowning, luckily there was a certified nurse present and a friend from our group knew and performed CPR. Within minutes the paramedics arrived and were able to get the young child breathing. There is still no current update on how he is doing… but with the help of others (including our friend) that young child may have a fighting chance.

After that traumatic experience, it cannot be stressed enough that the safety for yourself and your children are soo important. I have linked below a website where you can take an Adult & Pediatric CPR class in your city or one close by. As well as links so other water safety information....
