Taking the first steps towards anything is scary, just like starting this blog. But as a graphic designer it is best to have an online portfolio, so what better way to start my blog and add my portfolio along with it.
So here goes nothing... please bare with me, as this is fairly new to me. I started a blog a couple of years ago, however it did not take off the way that I wanted it to. I didn't do the proper research, I had nothing to share as far as my graphic design work, and I went heart first instead of head first. AHH! It was super scary! I am hoping to have better luck this time around.
Recently, I was contacted by Voyage Houston Magazine to feature a product I posted on my Instagram's business page. I was so thrilled that there were actually people interested in what I was doing, so I agreed to the featured post. The featured post received quite a bit of recognition that I was recontacted by Voyage Houston Magazine to be apart of an interview they were conducted about female leadership and entrepreneurship in Houston. I gladly accepted the offer, and I am so happy I did.
