Have you ever woken up on the wrong side of the bed because you got a restless night of sleep? And somehow the lack of sleep disrupted your day, making your day irritating? Have you switched mattresses? Purchased new pillows? Yet, still you can not get that really good deep sleep? I know I definitely have. I would wake up probably 2-3 times a night.. and once I was in that awaken state I couldn't go back to sleep, unless it involved me getting up for a drink of water or scrolling through my phone until I miraculously fell back to sleep. It was so annoying. I wasn't the only one struggling either. My husband has arthritis, so dealing with joint pain is a daily battle for him, and falling asleep with that kind of pain can be extremely hard. He was the definition of a "tosser and turner."
So we made the decision to look into a new comforter... after sleeping in the same bed together for almost ten years, we have gone through quite a few comforters. The stitching would start to rip, the filling would fall out, or it would be comfortable for me but not for him and vise versa. There was just a number of things that would go wrong.
So in search of this new comforter we decided to browse Amazon. Now, I love love love shopping online, not only can I do it from literally anywhere but it helps when I can send the link to the hubby while we are both working and pretty much shop "together". It also helps when I can read reviews, see others pictures, and helpful tips. We were eventually able to agree on a comforter, the "Superior Solid White Down Alternative Comforter."
Let me start off by telling you not only did the midnight sudden wake ups stop, and my husband's tossing and turning... but it's sometimes impossible to get him out of bed! We both love it so much!! Here are a few reasons we came up with together to give you a better insight about it...
It has weight to it to make you feel comfortable and cozy
We've put it in the washer and dryer and there hasn't been any ripping problems
It's SUPER soft
It fits our queen size bed perfectly - no tugging between who get more coverage
The price is great!
It's easy to manage with spot cleaning.
Also, the description states the filling is hypoallergenic
