FIVE Things You Should Do EVERY Sunday

Sundays are always a bittersweet day! It’s the last day to relax and enjoy your weekend but it’s also a day of an anxiety. Even being a stay at home mom I get anxious to start the week knowing that husband goes back to work and I start my weekly routine of cleaning house, prepping meals, and parenting solo. So to ease the anxiety and enjoy my Sundays here are a few things I do and I hope these things can help you have a great Sunday too!!

1. ENJOY YOUR SUNDAY MORNING
REALLY enjoy your morning! Snooze a little, casually make your coffee, enjoy church with family. Whatever you do on your Sunday morning enjoy it. Don’t think about the week ahead just yet.
2. TAKE A LOAD OFF
Make sure all your house chores are done during the week or on Saturday. Seriously having one FULL day of ZERO chores will help you prepare your mind and body for the week ahead.
3. RELAX
If you relax by enjoying lunch with friends/family or staying in your PJs watching Netflix then do just that! Relaxing and enjoying your favorite thing will make you have less anxiety, and plus side you enjoyed your day and made the weekend feel a bit more longer.
4. PREP
Make a game plan and prep for your week ahead. That could mean, prepping lunch meals so you aren’t in a rush in the mornings or simply gathering your outfits for the week. Prepping even ONE thing for the week makes a difference. I personally get out my planner and prep my cleaning schedule and dinner plans - it really makes the week go smoother.
5. GO TO BED EARLY
Getting a good nights rest will make all the difference in starting your week. Being a stay at home mom to a tiny human who basically makes our schedule for us, this step can be hard but with my husbands help we accomplish SOME extra sleep (at least we switch off weekly who gets the extra sleep)
