I am not affiliated with any of the companies listed. This is a personal review and thoughts from my own experiences and/or research.
As a new mom and only four months in on this motherhood journey, I have learned some major essentials that have made my life a little bit easier. I hope sharing these products will help new moms and/or all moms.

In no particular order...

The Owlet has been such a saving grace. I learned about this product from a friend of mine but also from researching the product extensively. The Owlet is a monitor that is wrapped around your child's foot and monitors their heart rate and oxygen level via phone app. If the heart rate or oxygen level goes out of range a base command and app notification will alert you.
This product has given me a peace of mind and a better nights rest.
Downside to product: There have been "false" alarms. The base and app will alert you of a high heart rate or low oxygen and nothing will be wrong with baby. I have seen several reviews concerning this issue as well as experienced it myself. No product is 100% accurate so just keep this in mind.

All babies are born with a Moro Reflex better known as the "startle" reflex. Some not all babies tend to not sleep well if not tightly wrapped, mimicking being in the mother womb. For my case, my little babe definitely slept better while being wrapped tightly. I tried about 3-4 other swaddles and none of them compare to the Love Me Swaddle.
The Love Me Swaddle is easy to use, they come in several sizes to fit baby perfectly, and it is well insulated ( it isn't too hot or too cold for baby)

The one product I didn't think I would use/need. Being a new mom it didn't dawn on me that I would be needing a product to place baby in while I ate, cleaned, or pretty much do anything hands free. Luckily a bouncer was gifted to me by my sister and it has been a life saver.
Whether you decide to go with a simple bouncer or a more advanced one, being able to set baby down to have a few moments or more to get things done will help you out tremendously.

[TMI] This product was raved about by everyone and I didn't understand the need for it until my baby got sick. If your baby is anything like mine, we are picking boogies out daily so a regular open nose bulb did the trick. But when we had a sickness hit our household and it wasn't just one boogie but several very loose boogies the Nose Frida saved me so much time and effort into helping her breath.
You may not use the Nose Frida right away, but when you do, you will be happy you had one on hand.

For the first few weeks mitten and sock were the only thing that saved our sweet girl from scratching her face. After awhile I realized she couldn't live with mitten on her hands forever but ahhh!!! baby fingers are sooo tiny and I have heard some horrible accident stories involving clippers and baby fingers. So after talking with her pediatrician, she recommended using a nail file instead of clippers. MY GOODNESS, using a nail file was way less scarier and a lot easier to use.
I have heard of unique nail files designed just for babies but we stuck with a simple small nail file - nothing to coarse.
Are you a new mom and thinking of trying any of these products? Have you tried any of these products? Let me know your thoughts and concerns in the comments!
Love from a new mom
