If you follow me on Instagram - you know that I LIVE for my daily workouts to destress from mom/home/wife life. I am not a fitness guru nor do I portray to be, I just enjoy moving my body and getting in some activity! After working out seriously I have a newfound appreciation for working out and moving your body. You will never know the limits your body can take until you push it and that's what makes me appreciate my body and working out.
In order to be successful I have created a collage of what I use during my workouts. I don't have the luxury of working out in a gym so these items are simple and accessible to anyone and everyone. The only costly one is the weights but you can make do with buying each weight separately or finding household items to help you complete a good workout.
1. I believe in a good sports bra - my favorite one is a nike thin strap one. It is easily covered under most workout shirts and has the support needed for a large bust.
2. Along with a good sports bra you need a good pair of leggings - I have listed several at the bottom from AE to Nike to Adidas. I have learned that a capri pair or a 7/8 due to my petite size works best for me.
3. My favorite item thus far. An adjustable step - before using a cardio machine I would turn on the tv to my favorite tv show and use this to step up and down and was able to burn a good amount of calories. I STILL use it for hip thrust.
4. Booty bands have been a life saver - when my workouts became to easy I added loop bands and it helps intensify my workouts as well as certain areas I was targeting. I have listed a cloth type of booty bands below - which I use to specifically target during glute workouts.
5. Finally WEIGHTS - you can use any weight that you please but these are the ones I specifically use. Adding weights have helped me gain muscle and up my intensity in workouts as well.
